Facebook Launches New Tools for Mother's Day
Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and the stats show that an increasing number of people are turning to social platforms to express their gratitude and wish their Moms well on the day. According to Facebook, Mother’s Day conversations drove more posts in one day than any other topic on Facebook last year, with over 65 million Mother’s Day related posts in the US alone.
Given this, and the growing array of options to share your thoughts, Facebook has announced a range of options for users to share their Mother’s Day best wishes through frames, cards and visual additions.
First off, on Facebook - users will soon see a notification at the top of their feeds highlighting the various ways they can pay tribute to their Moms on the platform.
“You can choose between cards, photo frames, or post a message using Camera or text post features.”
Meanwhile, on Messenger, Facebook’s added a new set of themed frames and stickers to mark the event.
Facebook’s also adding specific features to Messenger Kids, with frames and stickers for younger users to add.
As noted, Mother’s Day is a huge event for social media communications, and it’s worth considering the trend stats in your marketing outreach - and if or how you can use these new frames and additions in your own strategies.
